Landing Page Conversion Experiment Planner
Built the growth engine that took cnvrg.io to its acquisition by Intel.
Start from what you observed on your landing page and shape it into hypotheses you can test. Rank the evidence, pin down the conversion, and check if you have the traffic to run an experiment.
Conversion evidence and experiment plan
Turn supplied page evidence into hypotheses and an explicit sample-size estimate.
Use observed evidence to plan tests. A priority score is not a predicted conversion lift.
Add your evidence
Pasted HTML is parsed as text. It is never inserted into this page or executed. Remove secrets and private customer records before using it.
Start with what you know.
Supply the HTML or evidence you collected, then inspect it here. This tool does not visit a URL or verify live platform behavior.
- Use the result without an email gate.
- Keep source observations separate from assumptions.
- Export only when you are ready to share the contents.
Calculations and pasted-evidence analysis run in this browser. Saving is optional.
Keep the work. Control the sharing.
JSON files include your inputs. CSV and copied briefs include results that may be sensitive. A copied tool link opens this tool without your inputs or result; a link with inputs carries them in the part after # only.
A page critique becomes useful when it leads to a measurable test
An attractive layout does not prove a conversion improvement. Begin with visitor intent, the conversion event and a specific observation: an unanswered objection, confusing next step, inaccessible control or a form problem observed under named conditions. Keep aesthetic preference separate from measured friction.
Method and assumptions
Describe the observation and its source, propose a change, and state the expected behavioral mechanism. Rank hypotheses using explicit impact, confidence and effort assumptions. Estimate test feasibility from baseline conversion, minimum detectable relative change and available traffic. A sample-size estimate is a planning aid whose assumptions require review.
An illustrative example
If visitors click a demo CTA but abandon the form, a shorter form is one hypothesis. Competing explanations include poor traffic fit, an unclear offer, a technical error or a scheduling problem. Capture evidence that distinguishes those possibilities before predicting a lift or changing multiple elements at once.
Turn the result into a useful next step
Choose one primary conversion and a guardrail, document exclusions and run conditions, and define the decision rule before collecting results. If traffic is too limited, use targeted research or a carefully reviewed rollout rather than pretending an underpowered test is conclusive. I personally plan and implement CRO work around the funnel.
What the result can establish
This tool does not scan a page, generate screenshot evidence or predict a measured conversion lift. User-supplied observations remain unverified. Its experiment arithmetic does not replace a statistical design review, account for every sequential-testing method or establish causality before an actual test.
Questions before you use the result
Will this score how good my design looks?
No. It organizes evidence and experiment hypotheses around a defined visitor decision and conversion event.
Does the tool predict conversion lift?
No. Minimum detectable effect and impact inputs are planning assumptions. A real experiment or other credible evidence is needed to measure a change.
What if my traffic is too low for an A/B test?
Use the feasibility estimate to reassess the method. Buyer research, usability observation or a reviewed rollout may be more useful than an underpowered test.
Does it capture screenshots from a URL?
No. Supply your own observations and evidence references. The planner does not invent rendered-page findings.
Do you collect my email address first, before I see the experiment plan?
No. The experiment planner works with no email gate in front of it. An engagement conversation with me is optional.
Who delivers the consulting work?
I do. I personally lead and deliver the agreed experiment work for your landing page. Responsibilities and access approvals stay with your business, and scope is agreed with me directly.
Connect the decision to action
Work with me on the next decision
I personally review the business problem, agree the scope with you and deliver the work. Bring the questions the tool helped you identify.
