Conversion and lead-quality feedback agent
Send advertising platforms the business outcome you actually mean
Built the growth engine that took cnvrg.io to its acquisition by Intel.
A form submission, a qualified opportunity and a collected payment mean different things. I personally build conversion-feedback workflows that turn eligible CRM or commerce records into the agreed advertising events, keeping identity gaps, rejected uploads and uncertain outcomes visible.
Define the outcome before connecting another endpoint
The starting point is the business definition: which source owns the outcome, when it becomes valid and what may later change it. A sales-stage label can be edited; an order can be cancelled; a payment may not equal order value. I map those states with the commercial and data owners before building the connection.
The workflow can return qualified-lead outcomes or eligible purchase/value events to selected advertising destinations. Corrections and adjustments depend on the destination and event type. We choose the supported route for the actual account rather than assume a legacy upload endpoint or one universal payload works everywhere.
The deliverable is an event contract and a reconciled queue
| Stage | Output I build | Condition to accept |
|---|---|---|
| Source definition | A mapping from CRM/order state to event meaning and value | The responsible business owner accepts the definition |
| Identity and eligibility | Permitted identifiers, consent state and duplicate keys | The record meets the agreed destination and data-use rules |
| Review and delivery | A staged sample, approved batch and destination response | Each intended event has a known request and result |
| Reconciliation | Accepted, rejected, duplicate, late and unresolved records | Exceptions stay owned; a response is not relabeled a sale |
If customer identity or ownership is the underlying problem, start with CRM automation. Reporting reconciliation remains a separate analysis task.
An upload can influence bidding even when it looks like reporting
Reading source records, preparing an event mapping and transmitting customer outcomes are separate actions. A staged event has not been delivered. A transmitted event may affect optimization, audiences or reporting according to the selected destination. The data and channel owners approve event meaning, permitted fields, destination and use before transmission.
For Google Ads, I evaluate the supported ingestion route and the integration’s actual eligibility. For Meta, I verify the chosen event destination, account/app access and current endpoint requirements. Neither platform access nor hashing an identifier establishes permission to use customer data. We bind the actual source authority, consent and suppression rules to the workflow.
Illustrative example: a lead qualifies twice in the source history
A CRM lead moves into the accepted stage, a retry repeats the same change, then a salesperson corrects the stage. This is a synthetic example of expected behavior, not an executed integration. The workflow retains the original event identity, distinguishes a replay from a new business outcome and determines whether the selected destination supports an adjustment.
An unavailable identity field stays an exception. A repeat is linked to its original event instead of being treated as another qualified lead. A stage correction is not blindly resent as a new conversion. Where the destination cannot accept the desired correction, the limitation remains explicit in the reconciliation report.
Work with Yaniv

Build for late records, timeouts and incomplete matching
I implement the agreed source read, validation, staging, delivery and reconciliation steps. The operating record retains event keys, source state, destination, submitted value/time and acceptance or rejection. If a request times out, destination evidence guides retry; an uncertain delivery must not generate duplicate accepted events.
Platform acknowledgement, matching diagnostics and attributed conversions describe different stages. Some outcomes arrive late or cannot be matched honestly. I record that population and the observation window rather than promise complete attribution or reconcile different windows into an invented exact answer.
Accept the pipeline before claiming a commercial improvement
Technical acceptance checks the agreed mapping, exclusions, duplicate handling, delivery, failed records and recovery. Business evaluation separately asks whether the selected outcome improves decision quality and paid economics over an appropriate window. A successful import alone cannot establish better customers or incremental revenue.
I personally define, build, test and document the agreed integration and can operate its exception queue within scope. Your team supplies authoritative business definitions, data-use decisions and destination permissions. The handoff names who repairs source gaps and who may approve a changed event definition.
Use data analysis and revenue reconciliation when the main question is why advertising, CRM and commercial reports disagree.
Questions before the build
Which outcomes can the workflow send?
We select outcomes supported by the chosen source and destination, such as accepted lead-quality states or eligible purchase events. Event meaning, value, timing and any correction behavior are agreed explicitly; not every destination supports the same event or adjustment.
Do you personally implement the connections?
Yes. I map the source and destination, personally build and test the agreed integration, document its event contract and recovery rules, and hand it over or operate it within scope. Access and business-data authority remain with the responsible client owners.
Can new accounts use any offline conversion upload method?
No universal upload path is assumed. I verify current account/integration eligibility and select a supported route, including the applicable Google ingestion service or Meta event destination. Source permission, event setup and required identifiers must also be available.
Does hashing customer data make it automatically acceptable to upload?
No. Hashing is a technical transformation, not a data-use authorization. We establish the permitted source, identifiers, consent and destination purpose, then implement the required normalization and transmission controls for that agreed use.
What happens to unmatched or rejected events?
They remain explicit records with reasons, source references and an owner. A permitted correction or retry follows the accepted policy and current destination state. The report does not count an unmatched or failed event as a proven commercial outcome.
Will better feedback guarantee better campaign performance?
No fixed performance outcome is promised. We first establish a correct, eligible and observable feedback workflow, then evaluate matching, decision quality and commercial results separately. Changes in reported attribution do not by themselves prove incremental revenue.
Personal strategy and implementation
Choose the customer outcome worth feeding back
Bring the source definition, destination account and an approved example of an outcome that is currently missing or misrepresented. We will define the event contract, implementation scope and acceptance evidence.
