Productized growth leadership, global

CMO as a Service

Led growth at cnvrg.io before its acquisition by Intel.

Three engagement tiers with defined scope, deliverables, and outcomes. You know what you are buying before the engagement starts. No open-ended consulting. No scope creep. Predictable investment, measurable results.

What productized means

Not consulting with a new label

For a fractional CMO engagement, define decisions, personal implementation, delivery capacity and review points before comparing hours or days. The three models below make the outputs and responsibilities explicit.

You buy a defined service with defined outputs, not an undefined senior person available some days per week.

Choose Diagnostic for my hands-on investigation and an evidence-based plan, Operator for strategic ownership and personal implementation, or Advisory for senior decision support while your team implements. Advisory is the sole advice-only offer. Match the model to the responsibility you need and the outputs you expect to receive.

CMO as a Service works differently. Each tier has a defined scope: specific deliverables, specific cadence, specific success criteria. In Diagnostic I personally investigate the agreed funnel and records, validate the findings and produce a revenue plan mapped to your goals. The Operator engagement manages the channels day to day and delivers attribution, weekly prioritization, and a board update each month. Advisory covers weekly senior review and async access. The differences between the three are scope and bandwidth, not seniority: the same operator brings the same judgment to each.

This is not a rigid system that ignores your situation. Within each tier, I adapt to what your company actually needs. But the frame is set: you are buying a defined service with defined outputs, not an undefined "senior person available X days per week."

I built this model to make expectations reviewable before the work starts. We record the agreed outputs, responsibilities, dependencies and change process, then review delivery against that agreement.

For the Israeli market specifically, the CMO as a Service Israel page covers local pricing, market context, and the IL-specific engagement pattern. This page covers the global model. If you are an Israeli company or a company operating in Israel, start there and come back here for the global context.

Three tiers

The three engagement models

Diagnostic

$6–8K, fixed scope

one-time, agreed delivery schedule

  • What you get: a complete funnel audit from traffic to revenue, attribution model assessment, 10-priority revenue plan with estimated impact per item, and a written recommendation on which CMO as a Service tier fits your situation next. You keep the plan. No obligation to continue. This is the right starting point for any company that has not had senior growth leadership before.

Operator

$8–18K/mo

duration and exit terms by agreement

I take on 3 Operator clients at a time.

  • The agreed scope can include channel strategy and investment decisions, attribution model ownership and maintenance, growth reviews with the team, creative brief review and direction, board-ready growth reporting, and hiring support if building a team. Responsibilities, time allocation, cadence, duration and exit terms depend on the agreement.

Advisory

Scope-dependent pricing

per month

  • Advisory scope can include strategy sessions, async access between sessions with a one-day response, and written notes with decisions and action items. Session duration, cadence and outputs depend on the agreement. Right for companies with a VP of Marketing or senior growth lead who needs a CMO-level sounding board and decision reviewer. Not a replacement for execution ownership.

CMO as a Service: three productized engagement tiers with defined scope, deliverables, and outcomes.
Global by design

Where the work runs: US, UK, Europe, and Israel

I am based in Israel and run CMO as a Service engagements globally. The productized model is built for remote delivery: defined outputs, async-first communication, weekly synchronous sessions. The geography of the client does not change the tier structure or the deliverables.

The companies I work with span markets: B2B SaaS companies in San Francisco running paid acquisition into US enterprise. UK scale-ups building international demand generation. DACH companies entering English-language markets for the first time. Israeli tech companies with US GTM ambitions. The growth function challenges are structurally similar. The channel mix and buyer behavior differ. I know both.

I have managed $100M+ in total ad spend across roles. At Elementor, I grew the company from $200K to $20M ARR operating across US, European, and Israeli market dynamics simultaneously. At Riverside, I drove a 337% increase in Net MRR into the US market from a European-base operation.

For Israeli-market engagements specifically: the CMO as a Service Israel page covers NIS pricing, local market context, and the specific go-to-market dynamics for Israeli B2B companies. That page is a geographic child of this one and shares the same tier structure with local context layered on top.

Track record

What it has produced at companies like yours

$200K to $20M

Elementor: acquisition leadership during company ARR growth

At Elementor I led acquisition during company growth from roughly $200K to $20M ARR. The work included campaigns, measurement, creative and funnel decisions alongside the wider team. That historical employer role demonstrates operating experience; it was not the current part-time CMO as a Service tier.

337%

Riverside: paid acquisition and Net MRR growth

At Riverside, I led paid acquisition, measurement, channel testing and budget allocation. Net MRR grew 337% during that work. I bring the same operating depth to the campaign, conversion and revenue decisions I own for clients.

$100M+

Total ad spend managed across roles, B2B and B2C

Across Elementor, Riverside, and other engagements. This is not advisory experience. It is operator experience: building campaigns, reviewing creative, making daily channel investment decisions, and owning the outcome when the numbers move in the wrong direction.

FAQ

Questions about CMO as a Service

What is the difference between CMO as a Service and fractional CMO?

The labels overlap. Here I make the engagement choices explicit: Diagnostic for my personal hands-on investigation and plan, Operator for agreed leadership and personal implementation, and Advisory for decision support while your team implements. Advisory is the sole advice-only offer. Compare the actual work, delivery capacity and cadence rather than infer them from a label.

How long does a CMO as a Service engagement last?

The Diagnostic has a bounded scope and agreed delivery schedule. Operator and Advisory duration, review cadence and exit terms are agreed for the engagement. The right duration depends on the work needed and the handover plan.

What does CMO as a Service cost in total over a year?

Compare the full cost and coverage of the options: salary or fees, benefits, equity, recruitment, ramp time and who implements the work. I bring senior growth leadership and hands-on execution in one engagement, with responsibilities and commercial terms agreed around your business needs.

Is CMO as a Service right for a pre-revenue company?

A pre-revenue company can scope customer research, positioning, measurement or an initial market test. I can lead and personally implement the agreed work. Choose Diagnostic, Operator or separate Advisory from the decision, resources and delivery needed rather than revenue stage alone.

How does the Israeli market version differ from global CMO as a Service?

An Israel-based team may need Hebrew management discussions and English work for buyers elsewhere; a company selling locally may need a different language and channel plan. We agree the actual market, buyer journey, working arrangements and commercial terms. The service tier does not itself dictate currency or localized prices.

What exactly do I get from the Diagnostic?

In Diagnostic I personally inspect the agreed funnel, customer and revenue records, assess the measurement and validate the findings. You receive the evidence, prioritized plan and recommendation for the next decision, with dependencies and any estimates identified. We agree access, deliverables and timing for your client or project scope. You keep the findings without an obligation to continue; the appropriate starting point depends on the work needed.

Who is the Advisory tier right for, and does it include execution?

Advisory is right for companies with a VP of Marketing or senior growth lead who needs a CMO-level sounding board and decision reviewer. It is not a replacement for execution ownership. Scope can include strategy sessions, async access between sessions with a one-day response, and written notes with decisions and action items. Implementation is done by your team or under a separately agreed engagement. Session duration, cadence and outputs depend on the agreement.

Can you work with a company outside Israel?

Yes, I am based in Israel and run CMO as a Service engagements globally. The work runs in the US, UK, Europe, and Israel. The productized model is built for remote delivery: defined outputs, async-first communication, weekly synchronous sessions. The geography of the client does not change the tier structure or the deliverables.

Is CMO as a Service a cheaper way to buy media?

No. If the brief is running Meta for a lower fee than your current agency, I point you elsewhere, because this is not an execution arbitrage model. What the service covers is growth strategy plus execution, from positioning and channels to landing pages and paid media, with reporting tied to revenue, CAC, and payback.

Do you work with my existing marketing team and agencies?

Yes, the model includes hands-on management of your existing marketers, agencies, and freelancers. In an Operator engagement the agreed scope can include growth reviews with the team and hiring support if building a team. The model also fits teams that have marketers in seats but no one owning the number.
